Tourist Map

Hi All,

We are going to Goa (Candolim)for the first time in December (287 sleeps to go!!!!)

My other half is a real foody and is dribbling over the computer at the thought of all these wonderful resturants and from the recommendations of you all.

I have found a tourist map (Johns Maps) showing quite a few of the resturants, however it was from 2001 and quite a few that have been mentioned are not it.

Is there a more up to date version?

We have just returned from our first trip (candolim)and we also tried many of the recommended restaurants on this forum, we also tried many of the restaurants that we had never heard of and to be honest we never had a bad meal. Prices ranged from £7.00 to £15.00 for two with a few beers and brandies. You will love the food and the gigantic proportions. We will definately be returning next Jan or Feb.

Souymans serve curries steaks seafood most other things.We went in jan was told the owner used to be the chef at After Seven which also as a good reputation. The Lonely Planet Book on GOA names all good eating places Cost 16 pounds Well worth buying
