Which airlines?

We are visiting Kerala in March and have booked our flights to Kochin but we want to add a flight from Kochin to Trivandrum. Does anybody know which airline flys this route? Is it easy to book when we arrive or are we better booking it from the UK first?

You may want consider travel by train-the fast trains take just under 4 hours, from city centre to city centre, whereas for a trip by plane you need to report at the airport at least an hour in advance,if the flight is on time and the taxi ride to the airport is about 45 minutes, with another 30 minutes at the other end. The flight takes about 30 minutes. Plane fare will be about 4X or 5X train fare, maybe more plus cab fares at each end, another hit.

gio is right, the fast train may be actually faster. Cochin airport is a good 45 min drive in the wrong direction, add to that the 1hr check in, approx 1 hr flight and approx. 30min travel time from TRV airport to the city centre - you are better off taking a train from Ernakulam station right upto TRV city centre. Cochin to Trivandrum buses are also available, and if you are doing Allepey or anything else in between you may want to consider a bus or private taxi to take you elsewhere en route. Eg. You could visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary and then go on to Trivandrum. I just read another members post recommending Jacob taxi driver +919447802914.

Thank you for your help but we will already be at the airport as we are arriving into Cochin in the morning from the UK and want to get straight onto another plane to Travandrum. We will probably get the train back up though.

I am not too sure about connectivity from Trivandrum to Cochin-although I do know there are flights. Best check makemytrip or cleartrip or yatra about flight timings.
