Tour operator has stuck us for 1 night in a hotel about 10 mins from Delhi airport (Ashok Country Resort) prior to setting of on whirlwind tour of other places. Have about 4-5 hours to kill after arrival before getting ready to go to Dances of India evening show.

Will it be worth getting a cab into Delhi and back (wanted to get some shirts ordered to collect 10 days later), or will the 25km trip be a)too expensive and b)too rushed (not sure what the traffic is like).

Don%26#39;t think there is anything to do/see in and around this hotel (except a motorway!).

Except the office hour you can get easily .....so don%26#39;t worry just try to avoid traveling by 9-10 am and 5.30-8.30....pm

Your hotel is close to Gurgoan, the suburbs of Delhi. You can buy garments etc in various shopping malls located in Gurgoan. It is hardly 10 minutes drive from your hotel. You can take autorickshaw too. Gurgoan is popularily known as BPO capital of India.
