Postal visa's London or Birmingham - any difference?

Not sure if distance has any influence at all but we are approx 50 miles from B%26#39;ham and 60 from London so where would you recommend we send our postal visa application too?

Is one quicker than the other?

Postal visa's London or Birmingham - any difference?

If i%26#39;m wrong here, then PLEASE accept my most sincere apologies, BUT, I was under the belief that postal applications for Visas was no longer an option. I had to go to the high commission of india ( london )in person, get a ticket, ( arrived at 10.00am ) and was told to come back that day at 14.00pm and wait in line until the doors opened. I duly did, and got mine within 2hrs!! Sorry if that has burst your bubble, but again, I didn%26#39;t think that postal applications was still in place

Postal visa's London or Birmingham - any difference?

Postal visas were reinstated back in November after all the complaints and chaos at the High Commissions.

I don%26#39;t know which HCI is quicker but it seems to be averaging an 8 day turnaround from London.

Katie%26#39;s right - postal applications are fine. What I%26#39;m not sure about is whether it matters where you live in the country as to which place you apply to. Anyone know?

Makes no difference where you apply, but be careful as the forms for Birmingham are different to those for London. I don%26#39;t think London accept the Birmingham form and vice versa.
