accommodation in Jodhpur

Looking for clean cheap place to stay for 3 nights.

hostel, homestay or guest house preferred.

accommodation in Jodhpur

Let experience Rohet Gahr, smoke the herbs at Bishnoi village and see on the way the Nilgai, half antilope, and half horse.

The room N°14 is where Bruce Chatwin wrote, during his long stay, The Songlines.

It could seem expensive but we asked for a reduction and they allowed to us a very good price.

Cheers

accommodation in Jodhpur

At Jodhpur astoria the hotel is good for comfortable stay ...

Hey wannagotheretoo,

We just returned from India and 3 days in Jodhpur. 3 days is plenty for Jodhpur, trust me, and we stayed at the Devi Bhawan, not cheap, but not expensive and it is incredible, beqautiful and very quiet and peaceful which you will be glad you have after going into the Old City of Jodhpur-it is a madhouse.

I can send you a Word file about my entire trip if you like, with more details about all the places we stayed.

I can enthusiastically recommend Haveli Guest House, which we stayed at in 2004. It is located directly opposite a large well, and is just a few minutes walk from the Old City Clock Tower, and these facts came in very handy when we went strolling through the warren of narrow streets in Jodhpur, as we were always able to locate Haveli.

It was certainly a budget place back then, but, of course, its prices may not have any connection nowadays to what we paid three and a half years ago. Still, it%26#39;s wiorth checking out... and if you do go there, it%26#39;s worth paying for a high, front room, as the view of the Fort (one of the most amazing in India) is breathtaking.

Check this site: http://www.haveliguesthouse.com/LOCATION.htm

Good luck!
