it is called the virasat (heritage)festival and is also recognised as a unesco heritage festival of the world.

Thanks for posting jajabor, it does sound interesting. Why don%26#39;t you post the events list as well? I looked up the jaipur festival website and they don%26#39;t have the 2008 list.

Normally they have an ad in the paper everyday giving that day%26#39;s programme. Anyone visiting Jaipur can just see the papaers and decide what to attend. If you wish to know in advance try emailing info@jaipurfestival.org. Just remember this year the Jaipur Festival has been clubbed with the Rajasthan Divas or Rajasthan Day Festivities so you should get info on the Rajasthan Tourism website www.rajasthantourism.gov.in. At the moment there seems to be no detailed programme on either the JVF or the DOT GOR sites.
