The shopping%26#39;s good everywhere, but for the best stuff panjim is best, they have designer shops there levi, addidas etc.

its only 10p on the bus and good fun.

( us leeds lads like a bargain ) good job ,cos our football team are dire .

mapsa market is also good for shops you can go any day, its where the locals go, there%26#39;s a place opposite jewellers row called the pub, nice for a stop off it%26#39;s upstairs and has a view over the mayhem of the market..

this is my the third time we have bought jewellery from rockys. he is the best jeweller in goa. i look forword to seeing him each year as his jewellery is best around.

i would say best place for exclusive shpoing is only rajasthan and by your test you will get things.

there used to be some decent shops now theyve all been taken over by foreigners, iff you goto panaji ( panjim ) there a place called bombay bazzaar , then theres a couple of other stoers . nike, addidas, levi, wrangler. lacoste . all you have to do is have a walk round, while in panjim have a meal at deli delbar its accros from addidas shop food very very good,all ladies get a flower on leaving service is excellent.

mapsa market mon-friday for make up, bags , and shoes. just remember to haggle with the price no haggle no cheapy cheapy.

on your walk to the beach you can allways stop at shops and bars just to put you in the mood.

at the moment there plenty of people from doncaster over there they flew mon . and they usualy meet up last thing at ZICOS BAR

then leave after football or bar shuts 4am ish or somettimes later. do good food as well.

Just wanted to add to all the other good advise that you should wait before buying!!!! When you get there you will be stunned by all the shiny, pretty, colourful, cheap things in the shops and on the stalls and want to buy it ALL! However, after seeing it everyday you begin to wonder if you really do want it afterall and probably once you get home you will wonder at your logic for buying it. So my advise is, wait. The same stuff is in the markets a bit cheaper than in the towns if you haggle well and its not like they are going to sell out of the stuff.

I love Mapusa market, Anjuna market is fun, you can get some great silver jewellery there (got to haggle loads at Anjuna), we buy gold jewellery from The Jewel Collection at Cavellossim but if you are in different area there are bound to be some good jewellers around. Great shoes available there, you will have to build her another wardrobe!
