Indian cooking classes

Hi

My partner and I are staying in a private villa in Kovalam (have an aversion to big hotels!) and are really keen cooks. Does anyone know if there are any local classes? We%26#39;ve looked on the net but can%26#39;t find any.

There are cookery classes advertised along the beach and also the Lonely planet offfers cookery classes eat you own food afterwards.

Sorry for the confusion, there is a restaurant here called the lonely planet that do cookery courses.

there is an exellent restaurant that also gives cooking lessons..i can not remember the name but it easy to find.

If you walk along lighthouse beach towards the lighthoue, at the end of the beach is the road going up the hill. When you go up the hill the entrance to the restaurant is the first on your left next to the usual tack shops. (you have to go up the stairs at the side of the shop)

They usually have a baord out in the day advertising the classes. The course is supposed be be great and we can recommend eating there..we did and always had a great meal.

The restaurant was called the Sea Flower which has now closed.
