Do the Monarch Flights stop at Bahrain?

Not from Gatwick, think its the Manchester flights

Do the Monarch Flights stop at Bahrain?

Depends where you%26#39;re flying from and when. We stop at Bahrain on the return leg but not on way there. Two weeks earlier and they%26#39;d have been no-stopover according to Thomas Cook website.

Not all Monarch Manchester flights stop at Bahrain. We went with them this year and the flights were non stop.

We fly from Gatwick.

Stella, Assuming you are flying from MAnchester, I think Monarch use a different plane on their Thrusday flight to the Airbus 300 on Friday and Saturday and as a result the Thursday is non stop but Friday and Saturday do need a refuelling stop normally at Bahrain. I say normally as this Saturdays stopped at Larnaca as Bahrain was closed in the early hours. One word of caution, if you do go to Bahrain, don%26#39;t buy any duty free alcohol at MAnchester, (or Goa for that matter unless packed in your case) as you have to take all your hand luggage off the plane and the Bahrain authorities won%26#39;t allow any alcolhol in hand luggage into the terminal (they confiscate it when you go through the baggage scan) - probably to ensure you buy your duty frees there - it is certainly cheap.

A lot of them do And they do from Gatwick aswell. We flew from Gatwick last year and we had to stop in Bahrain

Goangrasshopper

We fly 2nd March from Gatwick and are stopping in Bahrain but it is direct on the way home.

steve

I was on the saturday monarch flight which stopped at bahrain, and i bought a bottle of honey bee from goa,

i had this in my hand luggage and was allowed to take it through bahrain, no-one got stopped or had any liquids taken off them.

although i believe that this can be the case some times.

also 200 l%26amp;b in goa airport costs £6.50 my mate bought some and they were fakes. I decided to wait till i got to Bahrain, but they didn%26#39;t have any for sale, they did on the way out but not on the return leg.

Thank you.

Hi

If flying with Monarch reguardless of which airport you fly from the A300 stops at Bahrain but the A330 doesnt.

The A300 needs to stop and refuel.

Hope this helps
