I know Sanjay and Sandy from ice n spice but it%26#39;s a restaurant in Candolim not a beach shack. Went out for a full day once with Sanjay to spice plantation and elephants etc. and a couple of other places known only to locals and not yet discovered by tour companies. Great day. Didn%26#39;t know Sandy did the same but I%26#39;m sure he probably does.

Ice %26amp; Spice is just off the main road (road is opposite the popular casa sea shell) about 100 yards down, right opposite the shantadurga temple. Sandy is one of the nicest blokes you could meet, we used him to ferry us around on several occasions to beaches and Panjim. He does a varity of trips. He took us to play / ride / feed / wash the elephants early in the day before any tourists arrive so it was a personal thing. An hour is enough so we also visited a fantastic Hindu temple, the Cashew nut factory and a spice plantation with guided tour with lunch and drinks included. you will see more elephants at the plantation but these elephants didnt seem to be as happy. We was out for most of the day and it cost £30.00 each (he liked a pound note for some reason)He does other trips as well although we didnt try any others. Why not pop in for a drink and have a chat. (by the way, they do a wicked seafood platter)

They also do a fab roghan josh. The best we had. Agree about Sandy. Lovely bloke. Then again all the ice n spice boys are. lovely friendly place but shocking tilted pool table.

Do I need a mobile number, or just go and see him??

Just go in ice n spice any evening. He%26#39;s always in and even if he wasn%26#39;t one of the boys will ring him. he lives about 5 mins away and he%26#39;ll come straight down. It%26#39;s a nice place to call in for a drink anyway.

If you do go and see him, please say hello from victor and lynn and that i will be back in Candolim in early jan. Thanks.
