Holiday Inn, South Goa

Hi

As anybody stayed at the Holiday Inn in the last month and what are their thoughts on it.

Any info on hotel food, hotel rooms (upgrading etc) and costs.We have booked All-in-inclusive which was cheaper than B%26amp;B.

I have stayed there in the last month. We didnt go A.I.so cant comment on the buffet meals. We did eat in the hotel quite a few times in the evenings ( al a carte menu ) and it was very good indeed. Breakfasts we excellent with an extensive choice of menu to suit all tastes.

Hi there,

We stayed at the HI for 3 weeks from Jan 12 - Feb 2. If the All Inclusive was cheaper than B%26amp;B you have got a good deal. There is a good choice for breakfast - as already mentioned. The buffet meals can sometimes be a little touch and go but with your All Inclusive you can eat in the Chinese restaurant, the Mardi Gras A la Carte restauarant and also at the outdoor Indian restaurant - all 3 of these are very good.

For a change eat at the beach shacks or one of the outside restaurants. For less than 10 pounds (and that is the upper limit) you can eat very well.

The upgrade rooms are obviously larger but unless you have one of the few front facing sea-view rooms they are often in the corners and can be dark. But they do have huge 7 foot wide beds which are very nice !

The hotel has a good atmosphere and all the staff are really nice. You should have a good time.

Think you might notice one or 2 changes Bootneck! We stayed at the Holiday Inn b%26amp;b in Feb 07 and had a brilliant holiday but I%26#39;d have taken the AI if it had been cheaper - sounds like you got a great bargain :-)

Hope you have a brilliant time and don%26#39;t forget to try some of the local restaurants as they are excellent.
