Best beach for children in Goa

We%26#39;re looking for a quiet beach with clear water, no waves and with a possibility of going into the shade (bring along a baby). Could anybody recommend us a good beach? Thanks:-)

There are some quiet beaches in Goa but unfortunatly there are none with clear water and no waves.

...but if you go to Cola Beach there is the lagoon there which is clear and theres some shade...and its quiet too.........

Most of the beaches around Goa have very little natural shade, but there are more and more umbrellas (my pet hate!), some of the calmer beaches are Mojim, Ashwem, also it depends on the time of day. USUALLY the sea is calmer in the mornings upto around 2pm and then they get rougher.. Ashwem and Arambol both have lakes that fill up with sea water, but the sea water is rarely clear, but still nice (usually)
