Travel from Dabolim Airport to Varca

We are going out to Club Mahindra, Varca on 20 March - first time to South Goa and are arranging our own transfers. Does anyone know roughly how much it will be in a taxi from the airport?

Also any suggestions of where to eat in the area would be great as we do not want to be tied to the hotel food. Only a week in the South and then heading to North Goa for a week.

The taxi should cost you around 700 rupees.

Lots of places to eat around.

Just outside the Club Mahindra is a good restaurant called Misha%26#39;s Hut.Very good food.

Also just a short taxi away is cavelossim where there are plenty of restaurants.Can recommend River View,Get down,Goan Village.

Not stayed but been to the hotel quite a few times...BTW their club sandwiches are really good.

Sun%26#39;n%26#39; Moon to the left is very good with some different items on the menu. The waiters are lovely and very helpful.

I got a taxi from the booth in Dabolim which is located after you%26#39;ve come through arrivals to travel to Varca (Ramada Caravela Beach Resort) at Xmas and we were charged 550 rps. Paid the same price the year before and there is a price list on display. Hope you enjoy the South, I%26#39;ve already booked my 7th trip for next Xmas.
