Staying 3 nights in mumbai
The Fariyas isnt all that great, but I don%26#39;t know anywhere else in Colaba that has a pool, other than the Taj ($$$).
For sightseeing, there are three companies that offer tours:
Reality Tours and Travels
Bombay Heritage Walks
Mumbai Magic
I own Mumbai Magic.

Staying 3 nights in mumbai
On this forum earlier I posted a long post with kid-friendly activities to do in Mumbai.
Thanks for the info i will have a look at that we may look at different Hotels without Pools.
thanks webbtaylor
We stopped a few years ago at the Diplomat hotel in colaba. It is just behind the Taj hotel. No swimming pool but reasonably priced for the area and well situated fpr sight seeing. Would recommend a trip to elephant island. you get a boat from the gateway of india which is opposite the taj hotel.
If you%26#39;re not that particular about a pool, then try Gordon House. Quite boutique.
Thanks i will look at those Hotels i am not sure the best way to book ,i have been looking at booking with Asia Rooms.com has anyone booked with them.
Webbtaylor
It%26#39;s alot cheaper to book directly through the hotel, but have to admit it can be hard to contact them and get a response.
I have used Asia Rooms afew times and not had any problems.
I have used asiarooms when i was in south is asia - had no probs.. u can also try checking www.asiatravel.com and also wotif.com, they are pretty good also
Thanks everyone , I have one more question we fly home on a BA flight at 13.15 we have to be at Airport 3 Hours before , the flight is on a monday , what time should we leave coloba District to get to Airport on time ?
webbtaylor
Give yourself minimum 2 to 21/2 hrs as there are road works in progress on the Western Express Highway going to the Airport and you will be travelling in peak time. Also check rates on travelguru.com for hotel bookings.
