reasonable hotel in delhi

Can anyone recommend a hotel that is reasonably priced (50-100USD) with hot running water, centrally located and clean. I dont need the extra frills but am looking for a clean hotel.

Try travelguru.com they are quite reliable, we have used them often for our many business visitors.

Hotel Rajdoot at Jangpura is also okay, we stayed there recently when everything else was booked up due to a trade fair. hotelrajdootdelhi.com

Some of the Guest houses in Delhi are also clean, with running hot water and well located. These are much cheaper usually. We once stayed at Legend Inn near Nehru Place, and once at Maharanis near Sunder Nagar. These were quite good. Dont have the details at hand but Im sure you can get it with a google search. Yahoo travel also has lower priced hotels.

Karol Bagh and the Pahad Ganj area also have a lot of low priced but decent hotels suitable for families but Im afraid I dont have the details.

At some times of the year, it is really impossible to get hotels in Delhi. Good luck.

About the Palace Heights Hotel - I contacted them about a booking a room for several nights and to complete the booking they wanted a photocopy of the front and back of my credit card. When I messaged back politely asking why they needed the photocopy, they didn%26#39;t answer.

You may have better luck with them but I%26#39;d be very wary of dealing with any business that wants to photocopy your credit card!

thanks everyone for the advice.

try Hotel singh international, nice hotel. it will cost you arround RS 1800 with breakfast and taxes.

See if the location of the Ahuja Residency suits you. It is near Khan Market and near the Ambassador Hotel.

I guess it%26#39;s technically a guest house. It has a dining room for breakfast and it has an Internet for guests to use.

Anyhow it%26#39;s in your budget and I found it probably the nicest place I stayed in India on a similar kind of budget. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, Khan Market is in easy walking distance or very short/cheap rickshaw distance, and the rooms are very comfortable and decorated like rooms in a nice British hotel. It%26#39;s very clean, bathroom very nice, plenty of hot water.

If you cared to, you could eat all your meals at the Ambassador, too. (I didn%26#39;t, but I had a nice breakfast there one morning.)
