The above flight which should have left at 1950 last night, has been delayed until at least 1300 today. Apparently it is a problem with the cabin pressure.

The real problem is probably just that the people already there weren%26#39;t ready to come back!

The flight was cancelled and people staying in our hotel were phoned by the Mytravel rep at 1 in the morning (imagine it!) - to be told there was a technical fault - they could keep their room until 12 noon but after that Mytravel or their tour operator would ';rehouse them';. Others not so fortunate turned up at Goa Airport yesterday morning to read a notice saying the flight was cancelled and giving a name and number to call. This affected both those hoping to go to Goa and those who had appointments or had to go back to work today, Monday 3 March. I assume they might be landing at Gatwick any time now!!!
It seems that there were a lot of flights that were delayed etc yesterday we should have left our hotel at 5 in the morning but first choice were very good and informed the hotel and passengers early enough so we knew that we could sleep longer. We were told that we would be picked up at 10 am so we had enough time to have breakfast and a swim before we had to get ready. Our flight FCA045 went at 3.30pm and landed at Gatwick uk time 8.30pm. A lot of the planes were going over Russia to avoid the bad weather over Europe. Unfortunately people who had there own accomodation were not told so they turned up at the normal time.
