best place in kerala for 4 days?

my friends and I are coming next april to Kerala for a short holidsy.Can anyone suggest which is the best place to stay?I%26#39;m really lost!!

Munnar ( Hill station )

All the above destination are to teh central adn south region of Kerala

The access to this place is

By air : Cochin International airport

Trivandrum International Airport

For a short stay a combination of backwater and beach

or backwater and hill station can be selected from the above destinations

The nearest airport to Kovalam or varkala is Trivandrum international airport ( Airport code: TRV).

Kovalam is 20 minute drive from the airport , whereas varkala is an hour approx drive from airport.

Both are beach destinations , varkala has a cliff beach ...
