Hello! We were booked into the Hotel Sarovar for a two night stay in Udaipur. Has anyone any info on the hotel or can anyone suggest a nice hotel on the lake for us? We will be in Udaipur the last week of March. We would greatly appreciate the input. Thanks so much!!!!

Near to hotel sarovar is hotel Mandiram Palace. its very nice hotel and nice view. The rooms ranging from 500/- to 800/- are very clean and beautiful.The food of its restaurent is delicious.

my wife and I just returned from 3 weeks in INdia and stayed at Hotel rishna Niwas in Udaipur. It is gorgeous and right smack in the middle of everything and can be nosiy if you get a lake view because of the street below. We did have luch at Ambroi or Ambrai-no website, but you can find their phone number somewhere I am sure-very good food and the rooms whcih we saw-about 75 USD are beautiful and right smack on the lake with no street noise. Ask for the old section.
