Tailor near bogmallo? Help Please!

Hi

I will be going to Goa in about a week.

I was looking to get some clothes made and lots of people are mentioning super tailor. I am staying at the Bogmallo Beach Resort, is it any where near, price by taxi??

Also people have mentioned that they have the next catalougue and you can pick from there. This may sound like a stupid question but would they be able to make combat trousers. Being a youth worker i wear my combats all the time for work. I usually get them from republic. However they have stopped doing the wide leg style i like and there is a big lack of colours.

So what im asking is would they be able to copy the trousers i already have, even though they are combat material and not normal suit material!!

Tailor near bogmallo? Help Please!

There are some shops in Bogmalo offering tailor services but I can%26#39;t vouch for them. I have used Anthony Designer a tailor based in Vasco (15/20 mins away) ask at Coconut Creek (behind Joets on the beach) for his details, he usually visits there on Thursday afternoon after 3pm. Would certainly recommend you take the trousers with you and he will copy - I have done that before with good results. He doesn%26#39;t have a wide range of materials though and you may have to go to Margao or Panjim to a fabric shop which he will then make up.

Again anyone know how far from bogmallo it is by taxi!

Can also recommend Anthony Designer in Vasco. He only visits Coconut Creek a couple of times a week, so you may miss him. Take a taxi (';Lucky'; who parks right outside Bogmallo Beach Resort) from Bogmallo to the Anthony Designer shop in Vasco - 15 minutes. I agree that he doesn%26#39;t have a vast amount of material, but he has loads of swatches to choose from. Take trousers with you and he will copy them. If he doesn%26#39;t have material you want, then there are loads of material shops in Vasco, your Taxi driver can suggest some and take you there.

Have a great holiday, and try Joet%26#39;s at the other end of the beach for an evening meal. Great food and run by a great family.
