I am on a business trip to India and my husband is meeting me in Mumbai in March. We will have about 5-6 days to travel up to Northern India to see the Taj Mahal and do some other sighseeing. Can anyone suggest some places we can go?
I would be happy to fly to Delhi and go traveling from there.

Most foreigners like visiting Taj Mahal, there are lots of places to see in Delhi also lots of places to shop in Delhi suburbs and adjoining cities like Noida and Gurgaon.
Being in delhi i love to shop...but let me know if you want to know anything apecific about Delhi.

In 5-6 days you could do the Golden triangle, i.e. Delhi-Agra-Jaipur.
Just do a search in the forum and browse through the posts. Topics including Delhi sightseeing are discussed every other day here.
